Vista wont continue installation on a 40gb drive master on primary IDE slot had some problems to create the primary partition (had to diskpart to create it ) Now it says : unable to find a compliant disk .... the system is a MSI-7191 (ati xpress chipset) i dont understand why it sees and format the disk and refuses to continue installation
As usual MS is making things EASIER .... Never seen that yet on any OS

unable to find a compliant disk ....
Did you format it as ntfs ?

diskpart formatted it as NTFS, no other choice.

Is it a SATA disk or on a RAID controller? Also, you said you formatted it, where did you format it from? ---------- Mark Dietz PROnetworks <http://www.pro-networks.org>
